Summary – Birding Then and Now Brian Keevan and Larry Pistrang presented a fascinating program about bird sightings in Princeton, and how sightings have changed over the past 100 years.  They became interested after reading the list of birds seen by Raymond Gregory, which was published in Blake in 1915.  Changes in land use are an important factor determining which birds may be sighted today.  Brian also found a wealth of information about Mr. Gregory and the Princeton Grange.  Wachusett Meadow Audubon Sanctuary holds a group of Gregory’s annual bird lists. Raymond Gregory was part of the family which ran the store in Princeton center for 100 plus years.
