This brick farmhouse on Worcester Road, picture taken in 1973,
was originally built in 1773 for Colonel John Watson and his family. The
farm was later owned by his son Jacob and then for a short time by
Albert Haynes before it was purchased by Artemas J. Brooks.

Elmira married Benjamin Holden of Princeton. They had daughter Francene Augusta Holden, who married David Franklin Smith of Princeton.
