Princeton Antique Auto Museum

View 2021 Auto Show Plans

On June 16, 2018, as part of the PHS educational programs offered to the public, the society conducted a talk & slide presentation, which documented the history of the Princeton Antique Auto Museum from 1934 to 1963.

It was a glorious day in Princeton with over 35 antique auto’s on display and 300+ people in attendance. We greatly appreciate our volunteers and  the car owners involvement in making it a successful day.
Many thanks to all those who made donations to the PHS.
One of the attendees wrote the following, “The PHS put on a nice show! There were some outstanding antique cars – I would guess the car that won the trophy, John Walsh’s 1910 Pierce Arrow 66, is a million dollar car.  That is one of the very nicest antique cars in existence, and you had it right there in Princeton!  There were 3 Pierce Arrows in the show, and one of the others was also a Model 66!  There are 20  P/A 66’s, and among us old car enthusiasts, they are considered to be a Holy Grail car, and you had two of them!
Also there was a very rare Rollin!  I think that’s the only Rollin I ever seen at a car show, plus many other autos in superb condition.”
The highlight of the day  came at the end of the day when the antique cars and their owners paraded their vehicles up Rt 31 and around the Princeton Common in an attempt to commemorate Al Garganigo’s Annual 4th of July Antique Auto Race to the Summit of Mt. Wachusett.
